Happy Thanksgiving 2024
Dear Friends,
I have lots to be thankful for this holiday season: my latest book set in Provence, my family and you. Quite a few people have bought books—hurray! A few people have written a review—fabulous! Thank you so much for reading and writing about my book. I hope quite a few more of you will write a review soon. It's meaningful to me and critical to sales. So please consider what you might say in one or two sentences. That's all it takes. You can post to Amazon, Goodreads, Bookbub or anywhere you like to share your opinion.
My sweet mother-in-law and Thanksgiving will be here soon. We have plans to cook, dine out and see a few sights. Seattle has a new zillion dollar waterfront promenade with the location for selfies to include our volcano (Mt. Rainier), skyscrapers, Elliott Bay, the Space Needle and more. Shopping for bargains at Nordstrom is a must along with lunch in the Nordstrom Grill where we always order the Crab-Shrimp Louie Salad.
We're cooking a fancy 12-lb. turkey on the rotisserie as usual, sweet potatoes with marshmallows, fresh cranberry relish, creamed spinach and whatever my house guest chooses to make for dessert. Apple pie is a good bet.
Enjoy your holidays filled with delightful books by me and others! Lately I have loved: The Grey Wolf by Louise Penny, The Country Life by Rachel Cusk, Takes One to Know One by Susan Isaacs and Death of a Master Chef by Jean-Luc Bannalec. Any of these would make a great gift.
Thanks for being part of my world! I appreciate every one of you.
Cheers!
Karen
